An arming event notification can notify users when and who is arming and disarming the system.

To create an arming event notification using the website:

1. Log into your account.
2. Click Notifications.
3. Click +New Notification.
4. Click Business.
5. Click Employee arming activity.
6. Name the new notification rule.
7. Using the When dropdown menu, select either of the following:
   • Any User or Keyfob to be notified about any user arming/disarming.
   • Select Users and Keyfobs for specific users.
8. In Perform and of these system actions, click to select any of the following: 
   • Disarm to notify you when the panel is disarmed.
   • Arm Stay to notify you when the panel is set to Arm Stay.
   • Arm Away  to notify you when the panel is set to Arm Away.
9. In During this time frame, click to select either of the following:
   • At All Times to receive a notification anytime the an arming event occurs.
   • Only during the Following Times to configure specific days and times to receive notifications. 
10. In Notification Filtering, click to select the desired notification filtering. 
11. To choose notification recipients, click +Add Recipient.
12. Click the entries in the Address book that are to be notified, or click +New to add a new Address Book entry.
13. Click Close.
14. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
15. Click Save.

To create an arming event notification using the app:

1. Log into the app.
2. Tap .
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap.
5. Tap to expand Create Your Own.
6. Tap Arming Event.
7. Name the new notification rule.
8. Using the When dropdown menu, select either of the following:
   • Any User or Keyfob to be notified about any user arming/disarming.
   • Select Users and Keyfobs for specific users.
9. In Perform and of these system actions, tap to select any of the following: 
   • Disarm to notify you when the panel is disarmed.
   • Arm Stay to notify you when the panel is set to Arm Stay.
   • Arm Away  to notify you when the panel is set to Arm Away.
10. In During this time frame, tap to select either of the following:
    • At All Times to receive a notification anytime the an arming event occurs.
    • Only during the Following Times to configure specific days and times to receive notifications. 
11. In Notification Filtering, tap to select the desired notification filtering. 
12. To choose notification recipients, tap +Add Recipient.
13. Tap the entries in the Address book that are to be notified, or tap + Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
14. Tap Close.
15. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
16. Tap Save.
