The ability to see, open, and close the garage door from a security panel depends on the type of garage door control solution and security panel you have.

If you have a Linear Z-Wave garage door opener (GDO), then it is possible to control the GDO from the following security panel types:

• 2GIG GoControl 1 or 2
• 2GIG GC3
• DSC Touch
• Qolsys IQ Panel
• Qolsys IQ Panel 2

If you have a LiftMaster Internet Gateway (828LM) or Universal Wi-Fi Hub (821LM), then it is not possible to control the garage door from any security panel. That is because the LiftMaster GDO control integration is between the Alarm.com and LiftMaster systems, so there is no direct communication between the garage door operator and the security panel.
