Change Thermostat Overshoot Settings

Thermostat overshoot determines the number of degrees the thermostat will keep the system on above (during heating) or below (during cooling) the target setpoint.

To change thermostat overshoot settings using the website:

  1. Log into the website.
  2. In the Thermostat card, click Details.
  3. Click Advanced Configuration.
  4. In Overshoot, click Up or Downto adjust the number of overshoot degrees.
  5. Click Save.

Note: The minimum overshoot is 0 degrees and the maximum overshoot is 3 degrees.

To change thermostat overshoot settings using the app:

  1. Log into the app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Thermostats.
  4. Tap Configure
    • If there are multiple thermostats in the system, tap the name of the thermostat to be adjusted.
  5. Tap Device Settings.
  6. In Overshoot, tap Add or Minus to adjust the number of overshoot degrees. 
  7. Tap Apply.

Note: The minimum overshoot is 0.0 degrees and the maximum overshoot is 3.0 degrees.
