Users can create motion notifications for the ADC-VDB770 during its Video Analytics configuration. If the Video Analytics rule is already created, edit the rule to reconfigure motion notifications.

Note: The ADC-VDB770 motion notification is sent to the user immediately after the device detects motion.

To create a motion notification using the Customer Website:

1. Log into the Customer Website.
2. Click Video.
3. Click Recording Rules.
4. Click + New Recording Rule, or click to edit an existing notification.
5. Click Video Analytics.
6. Click to select the ADC-VDB770.
7. Click Next.
8. In Notify Recipients, click to select the desired users to be notified.
9. Configure the rest of the rule as desired. For more information about how to configure a Video Analytics rule, see Configure a Video Analytics rule.
10. Click Save.

To create a motion notification using the Customer app:

1. Log into the Customer app.
2. Tap .
3. Tap Video.
4. Tap .
5. Tap Recording Rules.
6. Tap + Add New Rule, or tap  to edit an existing notification.
7. Tap Video Analytics.
8. Tap to select the ADC-VDB770.
9. Tap Next.
10. In Notify Recipients, tap to select the desired users to be notified.
11. Configure the rest of the rule as desired. For more information about how to configure a Video Analytics rule, see Configure a Video Analytics rule.
12. Tap Save.
