 The Kwikset 912 Lever Lock requires four AA batteries.

To replace the batteries in a Kwikset 912 Lever Lock:

  1. Remove the lock cover and battery pack.

    Remove cover (v2).png
     

  2. Insert new AA batteries into the battery pack.
  3. Slide the battery pack back into the lock panel.
  4. Reinstall the lock cover.
