Request A Video Device’s Wireless Signal Strength

Video device wireless signal strength can be checked remotely at any time using the website. It is generally recommended for video devices to have at least 55% Wi-Fi signal strength (90% or higher for the Alarm.com Doorbell Camera).

To request a video device’s Wi-Fi signal strength:

1. Log into the website.
2. Click Video.
3. Click Settings.
4. Using the Video Device dropdown menu, select the desired video device.
5. Click Video Device Info.

   
    

6. In Wireless Signal Strength, click  to display the video device’s Wi-Fi signal strength.
