Users can record on-demand video clips from cameras and video devices that get uploaded to their account.

Alarm.com video cameras can record video in response to motion or a system event (e.g., a door is opened or the system is disarmed etc.) using recording rules.

 To take a video recording using the website:

1. Log into the website.
2. Click Video.
3. Click  on the desired video device’s live view.

 To take a video recording using the app:

1. Log into the app.
2. Tap Menu.
3. Tap Video.
4. Tap  on the desired video device.
